July is a big month on Game Pass. Tony Hawk has already dropped, Palworld hits its full 1.0 launch, and a rebuilt Halo lands to close things out. Here's the confirmed lineup.
Microsoft adds Game Pass games in waves, and the first full wave for July is due around the 7th, so this list can still grow. Here's what's locked in so far, with dates, all landing on Xbox Series X|S, PC and cloud:
- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+42 July · out now
- Winds of Arcana: Ruination6 July
- Palworld 1.010 July
- Ascend To Zero13 July
- Denshattack15 July
- Fogpiercer17 July
- Planet Crafter21 July
- Tears of Metal22 July
- Halo: Campaign Evolved28 July
- Mistfall Hunter29 July
- Shift at Midnight, Speedrunners 2, Wuthering Wavesdate TBC
Three of these are the ones I'd point a busy parent at first. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is instant pick-up-and-play, a couple of two-minute runs and you're done, which is perfect when you've only got twenty minutes before the next school run. Palworld hitting 1.0 is the big one, the survival-and-creature-collecting game finally leaving early access after more than two years, and it's a genuinely fun one to have going with the kids watching over your shoulder.
Then there's Halo. Halo: Campaign Evolved rebuilds the original Halo campaign for its 25th anniversary with modern visuals and a few brand-new missions, and it's on Game Pass day one on 28 July. If you want the full detail on Palworld's launch, we covered that separately here.
