Xbox has posted the second half of its September Game Pass list: four day one games, Dune: Awakening on 22 September, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Ninja Gaiden 4 moving down to Premium, and eight games leaving on 30 September.
Xbox Wire published the second wave on 15 September, covering 15 September to 6 October, two weeks after the first wave. Four of the new games launch into Game Pass on day one: Kernel Hearts, Well Dweller, Minecraft Dungeons II and Gears of War: E-Day. All four are Ultimate and PC Game Pass only.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds is in the library now, from 15 September, on cloud, Series X|S and PC for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. On 16 September four games already on Ultimate and PC Game Pass reach Premium: Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Planet of Lana II, Routine and Ultimate Sheep Raccoon. Then 17 September brings Kernel Hearts, a day one action RPG with roguelike runs, on cloud, Series X|S and PC, and Ninja Gaiden 4 joins Premium on cloud, Series X|S, handheld and PC.
The bigger drop is 22 September. Dune: Awakening arrives on cloud, Series X|S, handheld and PC for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass, the one large new game this fortnight Premium does get. Well Dweller, a day one metroidvania, lands the same day on cloud, console, handheld and PC. Mad King Redemption, a beat 'em up with roguelite progression, follows on 23 September for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. On 25 September Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 moves to Premium on cloud, console, handheld and PC, and Rematch, the 5v5 football game, comes to Essential the same day.
Minecraft Dungeons II launches day one on 29 September on cloud, console, handheld and PC. Keeper joins Premium on 2 October on cloud, Series X|S and PC. Gears of War: E-Day closes the wave on 6 October, day one on Series X|S, handheld, PC and cloud. Xbox also lists an EA Play early access trial for EA Sports FC 27 on console and PC from 18 September, and a Sea of Thieves free play weekend from 17 to 21 September.
Leaving on 30 September, all on cloud, console and PC: Atomfall, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition, Little Rocket Lab, Sifu, SOPA Tale of the Stolen Potato, Sworn and Terminull Brigade. Anyone partway through Sifu or Atomfall has a fortnight to finish.
For Australian households the useful split is by tier. Ultimate and PC Game Pass get everything above at no extra cost, including Gears of War: E-Day and Minecraft Dungeons II. Premium gets Dune: Awakening, Mad King Redemption and the older games moving down, but none of the four day one titles. Essential gets Rematch. Xbox lists calendar dates only and has not given Australian release times.
