Woodo is a puzzle game about building small wooden scenes with your hands. It is dated 16 September internationally, which means 17 September here.
The idea is simple and the appeal is in the feel of it. You assemble handcrafted wooden scenes piece by piece, and the store copy makes a point of each piece clicking into place with a satisfying, tactile sensation. Around that is a story about a childhood summer friendship between Foxy and Ben the frog, with a narrator carrying it along.
Australian dates first, because they differ from the international ones. Steam Australia lists 17 September 2026, Nintendo Australia says available 17 September, and the PlayStation Australia store has it at 17 September, 1:00am AEST. So the 16 September date you will see elsewhere is the 17th for us.
Platforms are Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 part is easy to miss: Nintendo Australia lists a Woodo Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack and marks the game as Switch 2 compatible, and Daedalic says preorders and purchases include the Switch 2 upgrade pack at no extra cost.
Pricing is not consistent across stores, so it is worth shopping. PlayStation Australia has it at A$29.95, or A$23.96 with the 20 per cent PS Plus discount that ends on the 17th, with the Endless Summer edition at A$37.95. Xbox Australia has AU$32.00, dropping to AU$25.60 on preorder, with Endless Summer at AU$41.00. Steam Australia has no price listed yet and Nintendo has not published an eShop price on its product page.
Tiny Monks Tales developed it, Daedalic Entertainment publishes.
