Villain! is a free, standalone taste of I Want to Play the Villain!, and it's on phones now. Eighteen logic puzzles set backstage at a theatre, from the Ukrainian team that made Boxville.
The idea is casting. Each puzzle gives you a set of actors with their own wishes, fears and preferences, and a set of roles in a play. You swap costumes and move people between roles until everyone is happy and the story works, and the story itself changes depending on how you cast it. The free release contains the 18 puzzles of Chapter 1, and Triomatica says it supports 11 languages.
It's free on the App Store and Google Play, and the Australian App Store listing is live with a 4+ rating. The full game, I Want to Play the Villain!, is due across all platforms in early 2027. Triomatica is based in Ukraine and previously made Boxville, a wordless adventure game that did well on Steam and mobile.
