Pixel Washer launches in Steam Early Access on 15 October 2026. Valadria is the developer and Acclaim is the publisher. Switch and Switch 2 versions are planned for 2027.

You play a pig with a power washer, blasting layers of grime off pixel art scenery to reveal the picture underneath. Coins buy upgrades for your gear, with better pressure, a wider spray and more range. There are puzzle sections too, such as memory games and mazes, and Steam describes the mood as cozy and close to zen. Acclaim's announcement puts the level count at more than 40.

The developer expects Early Access to last six to eight months, and says that timeline is flexible depending on player feedback. Steam says the price will start lower during Early Access and rise as content is added. No price has been announced yet.

Why it matters: a demo is on Steam now, and console players face a long wait, with the Switch versions not due until 2027.
