House Flipper 2 is getting a physical Switch 2 release on 4 December 2026, and the Sakura DLC comes on the same cartridge. Silver Lining Interactive announced it on 16 September with pre-orders open at £44.99, €49.99 or US$49.99.
Silver Lining is calling it a full cart, meaning the whole game and the DLC sit on the cartridge rather than a key card that downloads the rest. Pre-orders are open through Silver Lining Direct and local retailers. There is no Australian price or retailer confirmed yet.
House Flipper 2 is Frozen District's renovation sim, set in the coastal town of Pinnacove, where the player builds up a flipping business one run-down house at a time. The Sakura DLC adds more than 600 Japanese-inspired items, a new area called Akamatsu Valley with Mt Fuji in the background, and building pieces like paper sliding walls and Japanese-style bathrooms.
The Switch 2 version carries the full feature set. Sandbox mode is in, with community sharing of custom builds, and the game supports mods through mod.io at launch. Silver Lining says every future update will land on Switch 2 at the same time as the other platforms rather than trailing behind.
The first House Flipper sold more than five million copies across PC, Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. House Flipper 2 has been on PC since December 2023 and came to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S later, so the Switch 2 cartridge is the first time it has been playable in handheld.
