Nacon put a date on Edge of Memories during Xbox's Tokyo Game Show broadcast on 17 September. The JRPG launches 5 November 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and console pre-orders opened the same day.
The Australian PlayStation Store lists the Standard Edition at $54.95 and the Digital Deluxe at $69.95, both marked pre-order. Deluxe buyers get in 48 hours early, from 3 November, and the edition bundles the Nekaroo costume pack, a French History costume pack, a digital artbook and the soundtrack. Pre-ordering either edition adds a Legacy Costume Pack with two outfits styled after Edge of Eternity, the studio's previous game.
One thing to watch on PC. The Steam page currently shows 6 November rather than 5, and there's no Steam price or pre-order yet. Nacon's own store sells it as a Steam key, and the physical console edition ships in a metal steelbook case.
Edge of Memories is a third person action RPG set on the continent of Avaris. The talent list is the reason JRPG fans have been watching it: Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger) and Mariam Abounnasr (Xenoblade Chronicles 3) on music alongside Cédric Menendez, vocals from Emi Evans of NieR fame and Marion Schneider, character designs by Raita Kazama (Xenoblade Chronicles X) and writing from NieR's Sawako Natori. The new trailer shows off the Japanese dub.
The game was made by Midgar Studio in Montpellier. Nacon has said the creative work was finished before the studio was wound up in July, and a technical team is completing the console and PC builds for launch.
It lands in a crowded fortnight. Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 arrives the same day, and Grand Theft Auto VI follows on 19 November, so a $54.95 JRPG is going to be competing for the same evenings.
