Darts VR 2: Bullseye moves to version 1.0 on Tuesday 8 September on Meta Quest 2, 3 and 3S, PlayStation VR2 and PC VR through Steam. It's made by Gamitronics, the studio behind the original Darts VR from 2017, and published by Evolution Publishing in the UK. It first went on sale on 9 April this year, which the publisher described as Early Access, though Steam itself never flagged it as an Early Access title. Either way, 1.0 is the point where they're calling it done.

The headline addition is a League mode. Weekly, monthly and seasonal competitions with prizes, including store gift cards. The European league opens on 10 September and the North American one on the 11th. Sixteen players per nightly event, the top three go through to the monthly semi-finals, and a season runs three months. There's no Oceania league mentioned anywhere in the announcement, so anyone here wanting in will be playing European or American evening slots, which lands in our morning or the middle of the day.

The rest is what you'd want from a darts sim that takes itself seriously. 501, Around the World, Killstreak and a Zombies mode, online multiplayer, leaderboards, custom tournaments and cosmetics. On PS5 you need PS Plus for online play, and it carries a Teen rating from the ESRB.

Price-wise, Steam lists it at A$22.50 in Australia. The US stores have it at US$14.99 on both Steam and PlayStation, and the publisher quotes GBP 12.99 and EUR 13.99, though Steam's own prices in those currencies come in a bit lower. I couldn't confirm the Australian PlayStation Store or Meta price before this went up, so check the shelf price before you buy.
