Bloomwalker, the crafting adventure Netmarble first showed at gamescom last year as Project Bloomwalker, is set in the Ni no Kuni universe. That was confirmed in a new trailer during Xbox's Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast on 17 September, and Netmarble has added PS5, Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch to the platform list.
The Ni no Kuni link is Level-5's, credited on the copyright line alongside Netmarble and Netmarble Neo, the South Korean studio making the game. Netmarble also made the 2021 mobile game Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, so this is the second time it's worked with the series. Treat it as a spin-off rather than a mainline entry. The last of those, Ni no Kuni II, was 2018.
You play a traveller in Luminoa, a world under a spreading pollution. Your home is a house that moves between sanctuaries, and the door at the back opens onto a pocket dimension you build out and decorate. Out in the world you cleanse corrupted guardians rather than kill them, befriend artisan familiars and higgledies, both familiar names from the series, and craft the things that bring villages back to life. Netmarble's Xbox Wire post is clear that there's no survival pressure driving it.
It has online co-op as well as solo play. The Steam page lists it as adventure with crafting and cosy tags, and the recommended PC spec is a Ryzen 7 5700X or Core i5-12600K with an RTX 3070 class card, so it's not a lightweight game under the hood.
What's missing is a date. Steam says to be announced, there's no price on any store, and nothing has been said about Game Pass or a physical release. Kropp Gaming will follow up when Netmarble puts a window on it.
