RibCage Games has dated Alpha Nomos for 12 October 2026. It launches on PC through Steam, on PS5 and on Xbox Series X|S. A release date trailer is out, and the Steam demo is free.

It is a rhythm-action roguelite. You play Cello and fight by timing sword strikes to the beat, with faster eighth-note patterns rewarding players who can keep up. Pickups change how you fight and how the music sounds, and each one is based on a real audio effect. The world is generated around the soundtrack and reacts to what you play.

RibCage Games is an independent studio and is listed as both developer and publisher. No price has been announced for any platform. The Steam page lists English for the interface and subtitles, and the PC minimum spec is an Intel Core i5-6500 with 8GB of RAM and a GeForce GTX 1050.

Why it matters: the demo is free and live now, so you can try the rhythm combat before the 12 October launch.
